6.11 IDE (J12)

The IDE connector is a standard notebook hard drive type 2x22 (44-pin) 2mm-pitch pin header. It mates with Diamond Systems’ cable number 6981004, and may be used to connect up to 2 IDE drives (hard disks, CDROMs, or flashdisk modules). An IDE flashdisk may also be installed on this connector to provide rugged, wide temperature solid state storage up to 4GB. Pin 20 is removed for keying to prevent incorrect cable installation.
