To program the 9513 effectively and take advantage of its myriad features requires an understanding of its structure and operation. A datasheet on the 9513 is included at the end of this manual. Review pages four (starting with “Functional Description”) through 11 to understand the structure of the 9513 chip and its capabilities. The various counter operating modes are described starting on page 13. A few explanatory notes are given below.
