This page describes the pinouts of various connectors available on Athena IV.

9.1 Power [J11]

A 1x9 2.54mm pitch header is used as power connector. Pinouts are as shown below:

9.2 HDD Power Out [J12]

A 1x4 2.54mm pitch RA connector is used to supply power for hard disk drives. Pinouts are as shown below:

9.3 External RTC Battery [J9]

A 1x2 2.54mm RA connector is used to connect external battery for RTC. Pinouts are as shown below:

9.4 Ethernet Ports

9.4.1 ETH-1 [J4]

A 2x6 2.54mm pitch header is used to access the ETH-1 port. Pinouts are as shown below:

9.4.2 ETH-2 [J19]

A 2x5 2mm header connector is used to access the ETH-2 port. Pinouts are as shown below:

9.5 VGA [J25]

A 2x5 2.54mm pitch header connector is used to access the VGA on Athena IV. Pinouts are as shown below:

9.6 LVDS [J24]

The LVDS interface is terminated on a 2x15 1mm pitch connector. Pinouts are as shown below:

9.7 LVDS Backlight [J8]

The LVDS backlight signals are terminated on a 1x6 1.25mm connector. Pinouts are as shown below:

9.8 Audio [J15]

A 2x5 2.54mm pitch header connector is used to access audio on Athena IV. Pinouts are as shown below:

9.9 USB2.0 Ports [J5, J21]

There are two USB2.0 connectors with identical pinouts terminated on 2x5 2.54mm pitch header connectors. Each connector provides access to two USB 2.0 ports. Pinouts are as shown below:

9.10 USB3.0 [J7]

9.12 Data Acquisition (DAQ) [J14]
